ENGAGING, DEEP FACILITATION for companies and organizations

Combining Deep Dialogue with an Integral Approach, and backed by years of experience and training, my facilitation process is designed to create spaces for powerful conversations to emerge. These conversations are the basis for deep transformation within companies and organizations.


SESSIONS AND OUTCOMES

CONNECTED: PSYCHOLOGICAL SAFETY & DEEP CONNECTION

An exhaustive study that Google conducted several years ago showed that psychological safety is the #1 driver of team productivity.

They found that teams with psychologically safe environments had employees who were less likely to leave, more likely to harness the power of diversity, and ultimately, who were more successful.

This 2- to 2 1/2-hour facilitated session is designed to foster deep connection among company/organization staff (and owners) and create a foundation of psychological safety and trust.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: The foundation of this session is a 20-minute presentation/journey through human connection: the role of connection in human wellbeing, our evolution as a connected species, the neuroscience of connection, how we can live more connected lives and create more connected neighbourhoods/workplaces/societies, etc.

Interspersed throughout the presentation are group exercises. These are not cheesy team-building exercises but rather exercises - backed by science and years of experience - designed for deep sharing and connection. Most of these exercises occur in small 2- to 5-person groups (either in person when/where feasible, or in breakout rooms on Zoom), but some of them occur in the larger full group.

The exercises have been designed to create profound and meaningful connection, and the presentation has been designed as a foundation on which to build psychological safety so that participants feel safe and ready to be more authentic and vulnerable during the exercises, which in turn creates the container for those deep connections to occur. And when that happens it can completely transform a workplace for the better.

You (the owners/leaders) will also received feedback and ideas from staff on how to keep the connection going long after the session has ended.

OUTCOME: Deeper connection and psychological safety among staff and a sense of community, connection and belonging at work.

Sessions can be delivered in-person (if regulations allow and an experience can be delivered safely) or online. I have delivered many powerful online sessions since the onset of COVID-19 and they can be just as powerful as in-person sessions (in some cases they can be even more powerful because of the features of Zoom).

NOTE: as of November 2020, I am not yet ready or willing to facilitate in-person events unless they are delivered in an outdoor environment.
